Paula Merrington

Paula Merrington (she/her) born and raised in Zimbabwe - I know, where the heck is that? One of the founding members of Belong: Fox Valley after Kylie reached out to ask "can we do this thing?" (at the dog park of all places) and of course the answer was a resounding "YES!" and the rest is history. The inside joke in Belong is that if I don't know "that person", then I know someone who knows "that person". I have been involved in advocacy work centered around diversity, equity, and inclusion since I was a teenager, so let's just say for a very long time. Advocacy for the LGBTQIA+ community is very personal and very important to our family.
