Spring Wildflower Walk

Thursday, April 3rd, 5:30 – 7:00 pm

Johnson’s Mound Forest Preserve (41W600 Hughes Rd, Elburn)

The event is free! Please RSVP at https://www.zeffy.com/ticketing/spring-wildflower-walk

Join The Conservation Foundation and knowledgeable local steward, Kim Haag, on a peaceful stroll through Johnson’s Mound preserve to explore the beautiful blooms of the season. We’ll enjoy a nice leisurely stroll while learning how to identify a variety of spring ephemeral flowers. Comfortable walking shoes (that you don’t mind getting muddy) are recommended. We will meet in the larger lower parking lot near the entrance and walk up to trails on top of the hill. Those that want to skip the hill may park at the top and meet us at the trailhead.
